BANDERDEWA, Jul 14: Banderdewa Forest Division celebrated the 68th Van Mahotsav by organizing a plantation program in Government Middle School Dobam, Banderdewa.
Urban Development Minister, Nabam Rebia who graced the occasion as a special guest while interacting with students highlighted the importance of trees and forests for our existence. He also exhorted the public to plant more trees in community and private lands.
Additional PCCF WAC, RK Singh, also addressed the gathering and briefed them of the history and significance of the week long tree plantation festival Van Mahotsav.
Meritorious students of the school were also felicitated on the occasion.
