Itanagar, Sep 16: A total of 56 persons were fined today with  Rs 500 each for not wearing masks during the checking drive conducted by OC Nirjuli, Minli Geyi at Nirjuli area and SI G Tape at Naharlagun area today.
Five persons were also caught spitting in public during checking and were imposed  with a fine of Rs 200 each.
