ITANAGAR,  Oct 22: The Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration of India’s achievement of 100 crore Covid 19 vaccination milestone was celebrated at Old Art and Culture Office building, Naharlagun today organized by the District Health Society, Itanagar Capital Complex in collaboration with John Snow India (JSI).
Dr.Mandip Perme, DMO,ICC, welcomed all the participants of the celebration and Dr. Dimong Padung, NO(NHM), highlighted the objective and importance of the celebration. Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex, Talo Potom graced the occasion as Chief Guest and released 100 helium balloons as a mark of achievement of 100 crore Covid-19 vaccination in India.
On the occasion, 56 Covid Warriors (doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff) of health department under DMO, Itanagar capital Complex were felicitated with Certificate of Appreciation. While appreciating the services rendered by the health workers in the on-going fighting against covid 19 pandemic, the Deputy Commissioner has appealed to all the doctors, nurses and other paramedical staff to always perform their duty with sincerity and devotion. The program ended with vote of thanks by Dr.Tahan Mize, DRCHO,ICC.
