BONGKHAR, Jul 2: In continuation of the ongoing Covid vaccination drive in Tawang district, 51 beneficiaries under the 18+ and 45+ age slabs who refused to get vaccinated during the 1st phase were vaccinated today at Bongkhar Circle.
ADC Jang RD Thungon, DRCHO Dr. Rincin Neema, CO Bongkhar Phuntso Tashi and MO I/c PHC Bongkhar Dr. Pema Dolma along with PRI members and GB convinced them to take the doses. Later, the officials in a meeting with the staff of the PHC exhorted them to strive for a 100 % vaccination coverage.
Meanwhile, Thingbu village under Jang Sub-division has achieved an almost 100 % vaccination rate with 173 out of the total 174 beneficiaries getting inoculated. DIPRO
