Another kin confirms kidnapping ; AAPSU express concern

ITANAGAR, Sep  5: Day after this daily reported of  five youths allegedly abducted by China's  PLA, another relative of one of the  abducted youths confirmed  the  report and urged the state and central government to secure the release his brother and the other four.
Speaking to this reporter, Reri Delak Bakar, elder brother of Tanu Bakar one of the five who have been abducted  by the PLA near the McMahon line confirmed the report and urged the concerned authority to take immediate measures to bring them back.
"There is no proper communication but villagers have confirmed  that my brother is amongst the five of them. Sera 7 area where the incident took place is at least 13 days foot march distance from Nacho," Bakar said.
He added that  due to absence of proper road and telecommunication even security forces have to walk upto the border with load whereas their Chinese counterpart have all facilities.
"Parents and relatives are anxious about the welfare of the abducted youths and how they are being treated by the PLA," he said while appealing the Government of Arunachal Pradesh and  Ministry  of External Affairs to pay serious attention towards the incident.
Meanwhile, the All Arunachal Pradesh Students Union (AAPSU) also  expressed  concern over the  alleged abduction of Arunachalee youths by China.
 Speaking to the media, AAPSU  President  Hawa Bagang  urged the central and state government to immediately bring back the youths.
Why is the central government keen towards only Kashmir and Ladakh? People of Arunachal have equal threat from China along the McMahon Line, said Bagang. He also urged for deployment of soldiers with expertise in mountain warfare along the Arunachal-China border.
The AAPSU president also questioned the state and central government for not developing roads and tele communication in border areas. "India got its independence in 1947, but till date our villages bordering China have no proper roads nor telecommunications."
However, when contacted for his comments for the second time, Deputy Commissioner Upper Subansiri reiterated that his office hasn’t received any official report from any authority till filing of this report.
As per locals, five youths, Toch Singkom, Tanu Baker, Prasad Ringling,Ngaru Diri and Dongtu Ebiya  all aged between 18 and 22 years have been abducted by Chinese security personnel from the clan's land (Nacho-Nadi or Sere-7) near McMahon Line on Thursday.
