ITANAGAR, Aug 13: Arunachal Pradesh reported its 4th Covid-19 related death today.
The deceased is a 56-year-old Assam Rifles jawan who returned from Imphal to Pasighat and had tested positive for COVID-19 on 7th August last by RDT-Antigen at Rayang (East Siang). He was transferred to 188-MH, Likabali for further management.
However, due to his deteriorating health, he was referred to AMCH, Dibrugarh on 11th August for ICU care. The patient arrived at 06.30 PM and expired at 08.00 PM due to COVID pneumonitis with acute respiratory failure, stated an official release.
