ITANAGAR, Jul 2: After a gap of several days, Arunachal Pradesh on Friday enjoyed a casualty-free day, although new cases continued to be larger than recoveries and the gap seems to be widening.
Recoveries, New Cases, Sample Collection
From Thursday’s 311, fresh cases increased to 404 (asymptomatic 222; symptomatic 182). ICR (86), West Kameng (64) , Tawang (30),  Pakke Kessang (26), Papum Pare (25),  Upper Subansiri and East Siang (22 each) were the top 7 districts. Among the 223 new recoveries, the first 5 districts were ICR (50), Upper Subansiri (25), Namsai (18), East Siang (17) and Changlang (17). The state’s active caseload is now 2964 and recoveries 33432.  Sample collection improved over the previous day with a total of  5950 collected from across the state on the day.  

Vaccination
In the '18 years and above' age category, 8861 took their first dose which in terms of percentage is 64 and 1886 their 2nd shot ( 11% coverage as of now).    
Occupancy status
At the CCCs till 8 pm on Friday, there were 49 at DCH Chimpu, 22 at SQF Lekhi, 1 at DCHC Midpu, 8 at DCH Pasighat and 36 at DCHC.
