ITANAGAR, Sep 5: Minister Agriculture, Horticulture, and AV &H, Tage Taki remembered the selfless contribution of teachers in the upliftment of the educational landscape of the state on the occasion of State Level Teachers' Day celebrated here at Dorjee Khandu State Convention Hall, Itanagar.
He also praised and acknowledged the efforts of teachers in making students literate and educated.
A total of 40 teachers were awarded the State Teacher Award-2020 and the event was conducted following SOPs and guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India and the State Government. This year contractual teachers, government-aided school teachers were honoured with awards.
Secretary, Education, IAS, Juhi Mukherjee, Additional secretary, (Education), Rangpo Ngowa , both the Directors of Elementary and Secondary Education took part in the program.
