KATANG, Jun 17: Tirap district has achieved yet another milestone in its efforts to defeat Covid by recording a 100% coverage in three more villages in Bari Basip Circle namely New Lainwang, Old Lainwang and Jadhtung .
This was informed today by Circle Officer, Bari Basip Nekong Perme who said that it’s a result of concerted efforts of the medical team stationed in Lainwang including  health workers, Anganwadi workers, ASHAs, PRI members and constant guidance and support from DMO Dr. N. Lowang, DRCHO Dr. Nidak Angu, MLA Wanglam Sawin and Deputy commissioner Taro Mize. 
All the 137 beneficiaries falling under the 45+ age group in the above villages have been vaccinated. DIPRO
