ITANAGAR, Oct 28: Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Mama Natung kicked off the 2nd Kalikho Pul Memorial State Table Tennis Championship 2021 organized by Table Tennis Arunachal (TTA) here at the Siddhartha Hall on Thursday.
At least 15 affiliated districts with the TTA and five educational and sports institutions are participating in the two day long state level championship.
Addressing the gathering, Natung conveyed his best wishes to all the participants and urged the youth of the state to stay away from drugs. He also appreciated the organizing team and assured to extend all the necessary support and funds for the tournament henceforth.
MLA- Pangin, Ojing Tasing, who is also the Vice president of Arunachal Olympic Association also spoke. Legislator Dasanglu Pul, the wife of the late Kalikho Pul expressed her gratitude for showing such love and affection to late Pul and honouring him by organizing the tournament in his memory.
