AALO, Aug 24: The youngest among the Covid- 19 positive recoveries today is a 28-day-old baby from Lower Siang district. Both mother and baby had tested Corona positive and were isolated in their house and released on August 22 after testing negative for the second time.
The Deputy Commissioner, Lower Siang AK Singh and EAC Ejum Angu who were present to release the mother-child duo lauded the efforts of the doctors and frontline health workers who took utmost care to save the life of the baby and termed it as a ‘satisfying moment for Team Lower Siang in its approach to fight against covid-19.’ Singh exhorted all involved in the war against the virus to continue their good works with zeal and determination.
