ITANAGAR, Sep 4: Arunachal Pradesh reported 85 new Covid cases and two deaths on Saturday, both from the Itanagar capital complex.
A 65-year-old-man and a 40-year-old woman died at DCH Chimpu due to acute respiratory distress syndrome with covid pneumonia. With this the death toll in the state has reached 264.
Of the 85 new cases, the Itanagar capital complex saw the maximum cases at 21 with a positivity rate of 2.8%. A total of 114 patients recovered on the day with the ICC accounting 36 of them. The current occupancy at DCH Chimpu is 16.
