ITANAGAR, Apr 28: With 165 more individuals detected to be infected with coronavirus on Wednesday, the state’s active Covid tally has jumped to 966.
Lower Dibang Valley and Capital Complex continued to remain the two most troubled hotspots in Arunachal Pradesh contributing 43 and 44 cases respectively today.
Capital Complex has the most active cases at 252 followed by Lower Dibang Valley with 240 of the state total of 966 cases.
District-wise remaining cases are: West Kameng 13, Papum Pare 12, Lohit 9, Changlang 7, Tawang 6, Lower Subansiri and Longding 5 each, Anjaw, West Siang, East Siang, Namsai and Tirap 3 each and 1 each from Pakke Kessang, East Kameng, Lower Siang, Upper Siang, Upper Subansiri and Kra Daadi. Among the 165 new cases, 133 are asymptomatic and 32 symptomatic.
After 17 recoveries on the day, the total discharge/recovery count of the state is now 17038.
3692 samples were collected and major collections were from ICR 947, Papum Pare 538, LDV 455, West Kameng 304, Lohit 266, Changlang 247, Lower Subansiri 175 and Namsai 173.
The latest current occupancy status at the Covid facilities is: DCH Chimpu 18, DCHC Midpu 6, DCH Pasighat 3, DCHC 18 and SQF Lekhi 4.
