LONGDING, Mar 1: 16 children including 14 boys and two girls of various remote villages of Longding District successfully cracked the entrance exam of the prestigious Sainik Schools at Niglok and Pungalwa. 
The Longding Battalion of Assam Rifles was closely involved in generating awareness about these schools in remote villages, screening children based on aptitude including providing  free books and systematic coaching.
