ITANAGAR, Oct 30: The Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship held a course completion certificate distribution ceremony at TRIMHS, Naharlagun. The two weeks training of trainers (ToT) programme on operation/maintenance of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Medical Oxygen Generation Plants which began on October 18 concluded today. The training was imparted by master trainer Sudip Goswami, Superintendent of Central workshop, Government Medical College Agartala, Tripura to 15 ITI Instructors who are mostly graduates in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering. After completion of the ToT they will impart same kind of training on operation and maintenance of the PSA oxygen plant in every district of the state.
Deputy Director, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, PK Das along with Dr. Rinchin Megaji, Nodal Officer Oxygen Plant, TRIMHS and Jumbom Riba, Asst. Director distributed the course completion certificates to the ITI instructors. 
Das informed that the ITI instructors are going to do a noble job by imparting training to trainees of their respective district which will make the state ready for any eventualities posed by another wave of COVID-19 pandemic and advised the instructors to discharge their duty sincerely for social cause.
Dr. Rinchin Megaji informed that the trainees are lucky as they were trained at TRIMHS which has the largest capacity oxygen plant in the Northeast and equipped with the latest cryogenic machine. The need of oxygen is very vital for survival of a human being, who cannot survive beyond 8 minutes without oxygen and such training is essential to make the various oxygen plant functional and strengthen the hospitals.
Jumbom Riba informed that the Department of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship is working hard to mitigate unemployment problem by skilling & empowering the youth and today as per demand of time it has ventured into new horizon of skilling in PSA oxygen plant operation/ maintenance, the ITI instructors will be the flag bearers of the skilling programme and would be treated as COVID warrior in case of another wave of the pandemic.
