ITANAGAR, Feb 23: Arunachal Pradesh will participate in the 29th Senior National Wushu Championship (Men & Women) to be held at Chandigarh University, Mohali from February 25-March 2.
Team Arunachal will be having a 14-member squad including 13 players and 1 official. All Arunachal Pradesh Wushu Association (AAPWA) President Toko Teki and its member Tamchi Kakum while conveying their best wishes to the state team have hoped for a medal haul. The squad will include Sanda (Men & Women) (Weights in kg): Bamang Ampa (below 52), Tai Kaya (below 56), Tamchi Kaha (below 60), Dunik Rama (below 65), Likha Tadh (below 70), Bangram Tungi (below 75), Kishen Chetia (below 80), Meme Tallang (below 45), Onilu Tega (below 52) and Soni Beyong (below 56).
For the Taolu (Women) segment (event within bracket), the members are: Mepung Lamgu (Taijiquan), Nyeman Wangsu (Chanquan) and Jimiri Lamgu (Baguazhang). Techi Juna will accompany the squad as Team Coach.
