Itanagar, Jan 31:  Single-day recoveries outnumbered fresh COVID-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh as 440 more people recuperated from the disease in the last 24 hours, while 328 new infections were reported. However, one more succumbed to the virus pushing the death toll to 287.
The fresh cases pushed the active cases to 2835 while positivity rate was at 15.4%. The lone death reported was from Lower Dibang Valley where a 75-year-old man who was involved in a road traffic accident tested positive for the virus and soon passed away.

Of the 328 new cases, 92 were reported in the Capital Complex Region, Lower Subansiri (32) and Papum Pare (30) were the other two districts with highest cases.
