ITANAGAR, Nov 9: The Central Calcutta Science & Calcutta Organization for Youth (CCS & COY) has announced the 26th edition of their ‘National Integration and Youth Leadership Camp’ which is scheduled to be held here from December 24 to 31 next.
The event themed 'Viksit Yuva Viksit Bharat', which is being organized in collaboration with the Government of Arunachal Pradesh, would be held at several venues of the Itanagar Capital Region including the D K Convention Centre, Rajiv Gandhi University, Dera Natung Government College and the Delhi Public School.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu is expected to grace the inaugural ceremony at the D K Convention Centre on December 24.
CCS & COY, with a legacy dating back to 1996, focuses on the comprehensive development of society, with a particular emphasis on the youth, regarded as the nation's backbone.
Building on the success of the previous year's camp in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, this year's edition promises to be an empowering experience.
The camp will offer free training sessions encompassing physical education, technical education, self-defence, self-development and national integration, complemented by national seminars. Students hailing from diverse states in the North-East, including Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura and Mizoram have been invited to participate in the event.
The CCS & COY has also urged the schools, colleges, and universities to enroll their students for this eight-day cultural and educational immersion, providing a unique platform for the youth of Arunachal to engage in a multicultural, multiracial and multilingual experience.
