AALO, Oct 18: The West Siang Police on Tuesday arrested an accused identified as Mitun Barman and rescued the victim of the Kamba POCSO case from Cooch Behar, West Bengal. A team led by SP West Siang Abhimanyu Poswal had left Aalo three days earlier and made the recovery.
In yet another such rescue operation on October 13 last, West Siang Police rescued a woman victim of Aalo PS missing case from Laluk (Assam) wherein a team led by SI L. Mena had successfully conducted the rescue operation.
The SP has appealed to the public to be sensibly cautious in their interaction with outsiders especially through social media and in matters of dealing in money and other transactions.
