Tenga, Oct 7: As part of civil-military cooperation in West Kameng District, the district administration has initiated a program called 'Sena Pradarshan' on Saturday. This program entails a monthly visit scheduled for the first Saturday of every month, during which approximately 75 school students are taken to the Ball of Fire Army Museum in Tenga.
In the inaugural tour today, a group of 76 students from various government schools of West Kameng had the opportunity to explore the museum. During the visit, students had the chance to witness an array of photographs, weapons, equipment, artifacts etc from the rich history of the Indian Army.
Additionally, the Indian Army provided valuable insights into historical events, victories, and interesting facts, enriching the students' educational experience during their museum visit.
This initiative aims to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of our nation's history and the dedicated service of the Indian Army among the youth of West Kameng District.
Under the banner of Civil-Military Cooperation, a diverse range of programs is in the pipeline to empower the youth in West Kameng District. Upcoming courses include beautician training, baking skills, tailoring classes, computer literacy, block printing, and much more.
