BOMDILA, Oct 4: With a vision to elevate the education standards in West Kameng District, the District Administration, in collaboration with the Pratham Education Foundation and the Department of Education, has launched a program called "Vidya Vahini."
This online training program is designed for teachers and students in West Kameng District, aiming to benefit more than 500 teachers and all students in classes VI to VIII across the district. The training program will span over six months and be conducted in batches, covering various aspects of teaching and learning modules, along with an English spoken course for students in classes VI to VIII.
During the program's inauguration, DC Akriti Sagar commended the Pratham Education Foundation for their support in organizing "Vidya Vahini." She also encouraged teachers to actively participate in the training program to enhance their knowledge and skills, ultimately delivering better education to their students.
Sagar also engaged with teachers from various clusters who joined the program virtually from their respective schools.
Resource persons from the Pratham Education Foundation presented various learning modules through PowerPoint presentations and interacted with participants.
