ROING, Jun 22:The Department of Food & Civil Supply here carried out an inspection at lower market, Roing and seized weights and packaged commodities from eight shops for violating various sections of Legal Metrology Act 2009 and Legal Metrology (Packaged commodities) rules 2011. During the inspection, various edible products were also checked for best expiry date etc. The inspection will continue till all the trading units are covered.
