Mariyang Dec 1: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (Urban) was organised at Mariyang in Upper Siang.
Deputy Commissioner Upper Siang, Hage Lailang in his speech highlighted the objective and said that through VBSY the government aims to inform and empower citizens about the various flagship schemes and programs introduced by the Central Government so that  basic minimum facilities  of government welfare schemes reach the last man standing. ZPMs Bojing Bitin and Nalo Moyong also spoke on the occasion.
During the programme beneficiaries of PM SVANidhi and PM TB Mukht Bharat Abhiyan shared their personal experience in the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani” segment of the programme and thanked the government for such welfare schemes.
Earlier the programme  began with displaying of awareness movie on  the IEC (Information, Education and communication) Van followed by Viksit Bharat pledge.
BOMDILA: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was observed today in Bomdila. During the event, various government schemes were showcased through a mobile truck.
Local beneficiaries of these schemes also shared their testimonies on how the initiatives have positively impacted their livelihoods.
Apart from administration of pledge, a short rally was also organized.
