ITANAGAR, Nov 1: The Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, celebrated Vigilance Awareness Week at the Donyi Polo Mission School for the Hearing and Visually Impaired in Chimpu, Itanagar. The event served as a platform to promote vigilance, ethics, and energy conservation, while also reinforcing the commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
As part of the celebration, a painting competition was organized specifically for hearing-impaired students, focusing on the theme of "Energy Conservation." The students showcased their creativity and dedication through vibrant artwork, conveying their passion for making a positive impact.
Adish Kumar Gupta, the Executive Director of Power Grid Corporation of India, who attended the event as the Chief Guest expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the school authorities for their commendable efforts in nurturing and educating specially-abled children. Gupta pledged ongoing support and assistance to enhance the lives and opportunities of these exceptional children.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Meena, Chief Manager at Power Grid Corporation of India, provided valuable insights into the significance of the celebration and delved into the developmental journey of Power Grid.
