LEKANG, Dec 15: In a consecutive streak, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein attended the third Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Camp held at Kumari Khamti Village under Lekang Circle, Namsai.
At the camp, beneficiaries of the village highlighted the various benefits received from the Government so far. Some of the prominent benefits availed by the people of Kumari Khamti Village were water supply under the Jal Jeevan Mission, Pucca houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), concrete latrines under the Swacch Bharat Mission and many more.
Huge number of beneficiaries from Lekang Circle registered at the VBSY camps, equipping them with direct access to several benefits under the schemes for water connectivity, housing, farming, food security, employment and financial aid, among others.
DCM Mein in his speech relayed the Government’s commitment towards transforming every corner of Arunachal Pradesh under the broader vision of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Sewa Aap Ke Dwar 2.0. Mein also noted that the benefits distributed among all citizens under various schemes will create a positive synergy in the development landscape of the Nation, enabling us to become the 3rd largest economy in the world.
He further said that the eligible beneficiaries of various schemes, who were left out in the previous years will be taken up in the coming years. While assuring that no eligible beneficiaries shall be left out, Mein said “as our government is committed to make the benefits of schemes reach to every individual and corner.”
The camp also saw the presence of MLA Lekang, Jummum Ete Deori, District BJP President Chow Sujana Namchoom and ZPMs of Upper and Lower Lekang Circles.
