DEOMALI, Nov 3: The Deomali Administration inaugurated the "Adhyayan: The Learning Pavilion" at Wangcha Rajkumar Govt College, Deomali, in a ceremony which was attended by PHE&WS Minister Wangki Lowang, ADC Deomali Vishakha Yadav, and Principal of the College, Monshi Tayeng.
"Adhyayan: The Learning Pavilion" is the brainchild of ADC Deomali Vishakha Yadav, supported by the collaborative efforts of the Deomali administration and Minister Lowang. The center, housing a diverse collection of over 3500 latest books across various genres, was made possible through an extensive book donation drive in Mumbai and Delhi. Equipped with cutting-edge digital infrastructure and WiFi facilities, the center also offers a platform for hosting conferences and seminars.
Lowang, in his address underscored the importance of cultivating a habit of reading and deepening one's skills to seize better job opportunities in the future.
The ADC highlighted the provision of coaching classes for various entrance exams, including Agniveer, SSC, and CDS, in collaboration with the Indian Army. The project aims to benefit local students, dropouts, and college students from Tirap and Longding districts, positioning "Adhyayan" as a beacon of hope and opportunity.
The center not only emphasizes academic excellence but also celebrates local history, cultural artifacts, and renowned personalities, serving as a source of motivation for the young learners.
