Banderdewa, Sep 24: An unidentified decomposed body, believed to be that of a man aged between 30 to 40 years, was discovered behind Satyam (Spat Iron Factory) near the Dree Colony Baptist Church, Banderdewa.
The body, described as having a thin build and dressed in a white half pant, was found in a decomposed state, raising concerns over the cause and timing of death. Authorities have taken swift action, with the body being moved to the mortuary at RK Mission Hospital for further examination and identification.
The Banderdewa Police Station, under Case No. BDW/PS/UD 02/2024 U/S 194 BNSS, has opened an investigation into the circumstances of the death. Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the body. They have reached out to various police stations to determine whether any missing persons matching the description have been reported.
Residents or individuals who may have information or those with missing relatives are urged to contact the police for further identification efforts, Police said in a statement.
