ITANAGAR, Nov 6: The Arunachal Wushu Team who participated in the 37th National Games, Goa were greeted by Tach Tadar, President “All Arunachal Pradesh Wushu Association “(AAPWA) along with Executive Members at Itanagar airport today.
In total the wushu team bagged 6 medals (4 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze).
Mercy Ngaimong, Yorna Rosni,  and Nyeman Wangsu won gold in Jianshu, Nandao and Changquan in Taolu Event. Onila Tega won gold in Sanda Event (52 Kg).
Mepung Lamgu and Realu Boo won silver and Bronze each in Taijiquan in Taolu Event. The team comprised of M.Premchandra Singh Coach (Taolu) , Meme Tallang Coach (Sanda), Tai Yamak ( Manager) and Soni Beyong (Technical Official).
Abo Lukam , General Secretary AAPWA also witnessed all the Wushu Games thereby encouraging  and motivating  the players at the venue.
