ITANAGAR, Dec 19: Todo United FC and Gora Makik SC qualified for the semi finals after registering much needed wins in their  last league matches played today in the 8th Eagle Trophy Football Championship 2023.
In the first match of the day, Todo United FC thrashed Bamang Taji FC by 7-0.  Tarh Dolu scored a hatrick for TUFC by scoring in 45th, 46th and 90th minute of the match. While Suraj Gurung(25’), Yash Chikro(31’), Dorjee Wangchu (51’) and Taba Heli (81’) contributed a goal each to help their team to reach the semi-finals.
In a thrilling second match of the day Gora Makik SC defeated APP Sports Control Board by 3-2.Gyamar Tala opened the scoring for GMSC in the 23rd minute which was extended by Tame Agung’s goal in the 49th minute. APPSCB responded brilliantly and scored two goals through Joynath Milli  (69’) and Dungda Tara (76’) to level the score. Substitute Honi Tana scored the winning goal for GMSC in the 89th minute to secure a semi final berth for his team.
Gora Makik SC will be facing Winner of Pool B while Todo Utd FC will meet runner up of the group which will be decided after Wednesday's matches.
