Itanagar, July 25: While replying to the question of whether any step is being taken up by the government to fix the appointment and retirement age of contingency workers by Nampong MLA Laisam Simai, RWD Minister PD Sona said it was high time that the government took a decision regarding the retirement age of contingency workers. He assured that the department would formulate system on equitable distribution of contingency workers.
Speaker Tesam Pongte also suggested the government to take up measures on the  above issue and on decentralization of recruitment of contingency workers at EAC and CO levels.
