KHONSA, Oct 4: Tirap has launched a 3-day long training programme on competency based assessment of mathematics for teachers at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Khonsa today.
While gracing the training programme, Deputy Commissioner Tirap, Hento Karga appealed to the teachers and participants to attend the training whole heartedly  and acquire the technique of teaching effectively  to impart quality education. The role of teacher is  important to build  desirable  society, he said.
ADC Headquarters Hakresha Kri exhorted teachers to do  their duty with missionary zeal  as the "role of teacher is  most important."
