PASIGHAT, Aug 10: In a heartfelt gesture of solidarity and support, a team from the Arunachal Pradesh College Teachers Association (APCTA), Jawaharlal Nehru College (JNC) Unit, visited Pareng Village in Siang District, where a devastating fire on July 31 last destroyed 24 houses, leaving many families homeless.
The team, led by Dr. Tasi Taloh, Principal of Jawaharlal Nehru College, and Dr. Leki Sitang, Vice Principal, along with seven senior faculty members, visited the affected village to offer financial assistance and moral support to the victims. The group expressed their deep sympathy and concern for the villagers left to rebuild their lives after the tragedy. During the visit, Dr. Tasi Taloh addressed the villagers, advising them to remain vigilant and prepared for such incidents. He emphasised the importance of community unity and preparedness to mitigate the impact of such disasters.
