PASIGHAT, Dec 3: The Tayeng Welfare Society has mourned the  demise of senior and veteran member, Annayok James Tayeng, IAS(Retd.) who passed away  at District Hospital Roing on Saturday  due to prolonged illness. Late Tayeng, 83 was one among the pioneers of administrative services in Arunachal Pradesh. 
He is survived by wife Geman Tayeng, and children.  In this hour of grief, Tayeng welfare society expresses our heartfelt condolence to the bereaved family and prays almighty that his soul may rest in eternal peace, it said in a statement.
