PASIGHAT, Dec 9: Students of the Rashtriya Raksha Uuniversity, Pasighat had an unparalleled opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the operations and experiences of an infantry unit during a visit to Rayang military station today.
The visit, organized in collaboration with Spear Corps, Indian Army was part of the university's commitment to provide students with real-world experiences and fostering a deeper understanding of various career paths within the armed forces.
Throughout the day, the delegation, comprising of 45 students and 3 professors were introduced to the daily routines, equipment and the rigorous training required to uphold the unit's mission. From interactive demonstrations to engaging discussions, the visit provided an immersive learning experience for the students.
The students had the opportunity to engage in Q&A sessions with infantry personnel, gaining insights into the challenges and rewards of serving in the unit. Senior Army officials also interacted with the students and the faculty members. Additionally, they had hands-on experiences with some of the equipment used in daily operations, allowing them to appreciate the practical aspects of infantry work.
