Itanagar, Oct 2: BJP Arunachal Pradesh felicitated 12 Para Athletes from the state who won medals at National and International levels at BJP headquarters Itanagar on Gandhi Jayanti under Sewa Pakhwada 2024.
Biri Takar (silver), Gollo John (gold), Boje Marbom (silver), Bamang Radhe (bronze), Dangu Talik (bronze), Tarh Radhe (gold), Tame Tallang (gold), Lemkhul Mossang (gold), Taru Richo (silver), Techi Sonu (silver), Kipa Sonu (best player), Chukhu Anam (gold) and Medang Yabyang (gold), winners in various categories were among those felicitated.
Kento Jini Minister who grace the occasion as chief guest congratulated and encouraged all the para athletes for their effort to secure medals for the state and country. He appreciated State BJP team for organizing such events which will encourage the upcoming sportspersons in the state. Jini said that the state under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu is giving top priority to games and sports. He assured to take up all the demand placed by Techi Sonu, Secretary General of Paralympic Association of Arunachal Pradesh with the government.
Nyoto Dukam Minister Industries and Mutchu Mithi MLA Cum Advisor among others also spoke and appreciated the State BJP team for the gesture.
