ITANAGAR, Jun 19: Assembly Speaker Tesam Pongte conducted an inspection of the MLA apartments at Chimpu today.
The inspection follows the recent denotification of the apartments, which had been previously designated as a COVID hospital during the pandemic. 
With the health crisis abating, the apartments are now set to be allotted to Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs).
The Speaker was accompanied by several key officials during the inspection, including the Commissioner of Urban Development (UD), the Secretary of the Legislative Assembly (SLA), the Secretary of General Administration (GA), the Secretary of Health and Family Welfare (H&FW), the Chief Engineer of Urban Development (CE, UD), and other officers and officials.
