ITANAGAR, July 18: Ahead of the second sitting (Budget Session) of the 8th Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh, Speaker Tesam Pongte inspected the Assembly Complex, including the main hall, today. 
The Speaker issued directives to all officers and officials of the Assembly Secretariat to ensure all preparations are in place for smooth and successful proceedings. The Budget Session will take place in the Assembly from July 19 to 26 next.
Meanwhile, as part of Assembly's ongoing beautification efforts, the Speaker introduced Japanese Koi, ornamental fish, into the water fountain on the Assembly premises. The introduction of these fishes aims to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the Assembly surroundings. MLA Er. Ratu Techi, Secretary APLA, and others were present on the occasion. 
The Speaker emphasized the importance of maintaining the pond and ensuring proper care for the fishes.
