ITANAGAR, Oct 11: Government Spokesperson and Parliamentary Secretary-cum-Mechukha MLA, Pasang Dorjeee Sona, on Wednesday expressed grief over the death of former minister and veteran politician of state, Tadik Chije, who breathed his last at Nirjuli on Tuesday morning after prolonged illness.
“I am extremely sad and shocked to know about the untimely demise of Tadik Chije ji. With his passing away, the State in general and Mechukha Sub-Division in particular has lost a great son of the soil whose contribution to the state and its people are unparalleled.”
Sona, who is currently out of town, in his condolence message to the bereaved family said, his dedicated service towards society will always be remembered.
Sona prayed to the almighty god for eternal peace of his departed soul and also to bestow enough strength to the bereaved family member to bear the irreparable loss.
