Itanagar, Jun 26: Tourism Minister Pasang Dorjee Sona chaired an interaction meeting on Wednesday which was attended by MLA cum Advisor Tourism Mopi Mihu, Director of Tourism, and other officials. The purpose of the meeting was to engage with the officers and officials of the Department of Tourism and gain an understanding of the different activities and tasks carried out by the department.
Kesang Ngurup Damo, the Director of Tourism, greeted and informed the Minister of Tourism and the Advisor about the many activities and tasks carried out in recent years. They discussed matters such as planned events, infrastructure development, leasing, and more.
The Minister of Tourism urged all present officers and officials to work with renewed determination in order to develop tourism industry of the state. The Minister emphasised the need for the department to prioritise areas that are most significant for tourism development, rather than spreading its efforts over multiple tasks.
