Namsai, Jul 17: The office of the ADO, Chongkham conducted a training session today for Soil Mitras from each Gram Panchayat as part of the NITI-Aayog's Sampoornata Abhiyan campaign.
Soil Mitras were taught usage of Soil Heath Card (SHC) mobile application for soil sample collection. Additionally, Soil Sathi login IDs and passwords were created for each Mitra. 
Following the indoor training, a practical session was held in Namliang village, where the ADO demonstrated the SHC app for live soil sample collection. 
The Soil Mitras are tasked with collecting soil sample from their respective villages of Chongkham block for generation of Soil Health Cards (SHCs). These cards provide a nutrient report of the soil, aiding farmers in making informed agricultural decisions.
