ITANAGAR, Feb 9: The Special Investigation Cell (Vigilance) has made another progress in the case concerning the illegal appointment of primary teachers and other staff members within the Education Department of Changlang District.
Following the case, registered under SIC (VIG) PS C/No. 03/2023, under various sections including 120(B), 14201409, 468, 471 of the IPC, read with Section 13(2) of the PC Act, 1988 and after a meticulous analysis of documents, interrogation of appointees and suspects, along with technical scrutiny,the SIC (Vig) has apprehended four government employees on Friday,
The arrested people are Lamaung Mossang, working as UDC cum Accountant, currently serving in the office of the DDSE, Changlang (A.P). Chaipot Techai, TGT(BEO) presently posted in the office of the DDSE, Changlang , Lomkam Rekhung, LDC, currently serving in the office of the DDSE, Changlang and Likkem Tangha, UDC cum Cashier presently posted in the office of the DDSE, Changlang.
The investigation into the illegal appointments is ongoing, with the SIC diligently examining all aspects of the case to ensure thorough scrutiny and justice, stated a release.
