PASIGHAT, Dec 16: Altogether 17 trainees from various Self-Help Groups of East Siang district successfully completed a three-day training on “Mushroom Cultivation Technology” for NEH farmers/Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) organized and funded by ICAR Directorate of Mushroom Research Center, Solan, Himachal Pradesh in coordination with the East Siang District Horticulture Officer.
The primary objective of the training was to impart technical know-how on mushroom cultivation, focusing on spawn production of Oyster, Button, Shiitake, Milky etc., varieties with its value addition, post harvest handling pest management etc.
Certificates of participation and free Mushroom Spawn were awarded to the trainees from the institute. DIPRO, Pasighat
