DIYUN, Jul 12: In a significant development, seven youths from Diyun and Miao Circle under Changlang district have returned home from an insurgent camp. Their homecoming was facilitated by the 11 Assam Rifles in collaboration with the local authorities. The youths were provided with counseling to aid their reintegration into society.
The 11 Assam Rifles, known for their dedicated service in maintaining peace and security in the region, played a crucial role in coordinating the safe return of these youths.
In a statement, the 11 Assam Rifles appreciated the courage of the youths and assured them of continued support. They committed to providing all kinds of help needed for the youths to restart their normal lives.
Further, the family members of the youths have also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the 11 Assam Rifles and local authorities for their efforts in bringing their loved ones back into a normal life. They acknowledged that their family members were misguided by anti-social elements and are now hopeful for a brighter future.

Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation into the matter. Authorities are working to uncover the circumstances that led to the youths' involvement with the insurgent camp and to identify any individuals or groups responsible for their recruitment, stated a release.
