ITANAGAR, Feb 23: Secretary, Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, Sanjeevni Kutty visited the ITBP Northeastern Frontier Headquarters on Wednesday and took stock of developmental works being carried out by agencies under various central government sponsored programmes for the development of border areas.

During her visit, Kutty had a detailed interaction with the top officials of ITBP and further interacted with the jawans engaged in border guarding duties.

Inspector General, NE FTR HQ, Manoj Singh Rawat though a presentation highlighted various challenges and aspects for the development of the border areas. He also shared with secretary the difficulties being faced by the Jawans.

Earlier in her visit to the state, the secretary also visited various ITBP headquarters established at Dibrugarh, Kimin, Yupia etc.
