PALIN, Nov 6: The 138 Bn, CRPF  organized a Civic Action Programme on Monday in Jorung village of Palin. The security forces installed solar streetlights on concrete base with pole and other accessories for development of sources of non conventional energy. 
Circle Officer Api Nungnu, Dy SP Tiling Taping, Sukhvir Singh, 2IC 138 Bn, and other dignitaries of civil administration and local public were present during the programme. 
The CO extended gratitude to 138 Bn, CRPF and appreciated the security forces for always lending a hand for the welfare of the local people wherever they are deployed. She urged the villagers to cooperate and increase their support to CRPF in their duties. 
Singh, in his address informed that CRPF conducts this type of programmes regularly and distributes daily life essentials to the locals as per their requirement to build a strong bond between the security forces and to develop a sense of belongingness. We are determined to serve society right from law and order issue to all other fronts, he added.
