ITANAGAR, Dec 22: The central reserve police force (CRPF) 138 Bn under its civic action programme installed solar street lights on Friday, at Ankaling village in West Kameng.
Tesing Sonam, President MMT, Asangee Dore, GB-1, Pem Sonam, Head Master, NSCAAV, Ankaling, Rajendra Kumar, Commandant 138 Bn, and other dignitaries of civil administration and local public were present at the programme.
A beautiful cultural programme also organized by the students of NSCAAV, Ankaling on the occasion.
President MMT extended gratitude to 138 Bn, CRPF and appreciated the security forces for always lending their hands for the welfare of the local people wherever they are deployed. He urged the villagers to cooperate and increase their support to CRPF in their duties.
Rajendra Kumar, Commandant-138 Bn, in his address, informed that CRPF conducts this type of programme regularly and distributes daily life essentials to the locals as per their requirement to build a strong bond between the security forces and to develop a sense of belongingness. He added that the CRPF is determined to serve society right from law and order issue to all other fronts.
