LONGDING, Oct 14: In a dedicated effort to promote community health and wellness to the villagers of Lawnu and Mopaghat, the Assam Rifles (AR) is conducting a two-day medical camp.
An official from the AR informed that the medical camp will offer a wide range of services. The health services will be provided by experienced healthcare professionals to assess various aspects of participants' well-being. Optometrists will be available to conduct eye examinations and distribute medicines to those in need.
A dedicated medical armed forces officer will be provided for diagnosis and medication. For the BP and BS screenings, the team will ensure maintaining healthy blood pressure and blood sugar levels of the villagers.
Besides, educational sessions will be held to provide valuable information on preventive healthcare, nutrition, and healthy living.
“The medical camp is open to all members of the community, regardless of age or income. The Assam Rifles encourages residents to take advantage of these services to ensure their well-being and gain valuable health insights,” the official said.
