Longding, Nov 6: The Assam Rifles Longding Battalion has constructed wood carving centre and souvenir shop in Longding town under Operation Sadbhavana Project 2022-23. The completed project was handed over to the Wancho Cultural Society on Monday in the presence of members of Wancho Cultural Society and District Administration.
The project is expected to generate employment for local artisans and preserve the rich Wancho culture.
