Ziro. Aug 27: Secretary Fisheries, Hage Tari inspected the Integrated Aqua Park Ziro in Lower Subansiri District which is expected to open soon. The project spread over several hectares of area is a first of its kind in the North Eastern Region executed by the Department of Fisheries in collaboration with Department of Hydropower and National Fisheries Development Board Hyderabad under the Ministry of Fisheries. Govt.of India.The Centrally Sponsored Scheme project is likely to add another feather in the map of attractive Ziro for tourists.
The Secretary was accompanied by former minister Tage Taki, Joyshil Taba, Director of Fisheries, Lod Naku EE Hydro power and other officials.
The splendid Integrated Aqua Park Ziro is not only going to attract tourists flow but is also expected to generate revenue for the government apart from producing abundant exotic fishes. The attractive facilities of the project include ornamental fish aquarium, fisheries training centre for skill development, fish ponds, fish feeding products,Fish hatcheries etc.
