Jang, Jun 22: The sub district level monitoring committee (SDLMC)meeting of Jang sub division was convened at the ADC office Jang to review the progress and status of ongoing projects under centrally sponsored schemes (CSS) and state sponsored schemes and saturation of sustainable development goals (SDGs) in Jang sub division for the 1st quarter ending.
Addl.DC cum Chairman, SDLMC Jang,Hakraso Kri, in his key note address elaborated the need for monitoring of CSS and State sponsored schemes by concerned officials and departments to assess the status of projects, for transparency and better accountability amongst the multiple stakeholders, planning and decision making and to update the timely progress of projects to the government. He asked the project implementing agencies to avoid duplicity and overlapping of same nature of developmental projects. He further said that malpractices while executing the developmental projects shall not be tolerated and asked the concerned executing departments for timely completion and submission of reports to the funding agencies.
Zila Chairperson of Tawang, Leki Gombu also gave significant inputs for taking up and timely completion of developmental projects without compromising the quality without deviations to cater to the sustainable development of the area.
All the Head of Offices under Jang sub Division and project implementing departments attended the meeting with their presentations.
